About Clare Mann

Clare Mann is a passionate animal advocate who applies her skills to help animal organisations and advocates effectively communicate the message of animal social justice. She is an Organisational Psychologist, Bestselling Author of numerous books and Communications Expert, with extensive international experience facilitating individuals and organisations to create extraordinary results. As a psychologist, her main focus has been on communication, leadership, teambuilding, organisational development and work/life integration – all valuable to the animal movement.

She is using her training to influence business leaders to include animal social justice in the ethical leadership debate. As Editor-in-Chief of the digital magazine Ethical Futures: Conversations That Matter, she is creatively bringing awareness to leaders about the injustices in the industrial use of animals. She is regularly called upon by the media to comment on social issues and believes that compassion towards animals directly creates a kinder world for everyone.

Clare runs a number of in-house and public communications programs and is skilled at teaching people to have difficult conversations effectively. Once people have found their voices and practice the techniques of effective communication, they become powerful voices for the others.

In 2009, Clare became aware of the reality of factory farming of animals in Australia. Since then, she has increased her involvement with animal social justice and contributes her time to numerous animal protection initiatives. She has now combines her passion for animals with creative ways to help people communicate this message. The Animal Effect Smartphone App is one such initiative that provides communication and engagement solutions to the animal movement.
